I am a proficient Emmy-nominated and award-winning news gatherer, reporter, and anchor with six years of experience. I started at WILX TV-10 in Lansing, Michigan where I spent, two and a half years as a multi-media journalist. In Lansing, I earned a Michigan Associate of Broadcast award, and an Emmy-nomination for my investigative work into dog abuse at a county shelter. I spent my next three years as an anchor and reporter at KSBW TV-8 in Salinas,California. I currently work at Fox 5 San Diego as a reporter. 

Throughout my career, I have covered a variety of topics from California wildfires to heritage and cultural stories impacting local communities, to staying on-top of COVID-19 reporting. I enjoy connecting with people to share stories that matter to a community. I complete daily assignments under tight deadlines, while also appearing for multiple live shots. I am a strong writer, with a passionate on-air presence. I am well-versed in social media reporting as well, including sharing content across multiple platforms. I have experience filming and editing using Adobe Premiere Pro. I have strong communication skills and am adept at working with a team and individually.

I am able to jump in and help the newsroom, whether picking up an extra shift or lending a hand to a colleague. I strive to incorporate uniqueness and accurate storytelling for viewers. I welcome challenges and seek assistance when needed. I am always looking for new innovative ways to create news content. I seek to expand my knowledge in journalism and add skills to my toolbox of reporting and anchoring. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Detroit Mercy. I also earned a Master's degree from Wayne State University.
